Greater Cleveland RTA presentation
RTA is heading to the May 2027 ballot for a 0.25–0.50% sales tax increase — its first ask since 1975. Groceries, rent, medicine, and gas would be exempt, but the county's total sales tax could reach 8.5%.
Berkshire Road traffic calming
A resident who submitted a 37-household petition in 2022 asked that Berkshire Road be included among the four streets in the upcoming traffic calming study, citing 22 children under ten on the street.
Edgehill and Scarborough bicycle boulevards grant application
The city will apply for a NOACA TLCI grant to design bike boulevards on Edgehill and Scarborough, prioritizing safe routes to schools. Residents on those streets will get a say in the design, and the city can walk away if opposition is overwhelming.

Street Resurfacing Investment Levels
The city more than doubled its resurfacing budget to $5.1 million and is adding a third, unionized contractor crew to fill potholes full-time starting Wednesday. If you've been dodging craters on your commute, help is literally on the way.
Taylor Road TLCI engineering design
Council approved OHM Advisors to design the Taylor Road corridor improvements under a federal TLCI grant. Members flagged that the underlying 2019 NOACA study is seven years old and pushed for fresh community engagement with the new Taylor Road Merchants Association.
Pothole response and Mayor's Action Center performance
The MAC logged 10,000 requests in two years, with pothole reports up from 461 to 550 this spring quarter. Residents can reach the office by phone, email, app, web or in person — and council was reminded that service requests should go to the MAC, not to council members.
